After winning the District 10 AAAA Championship the Meadville Bulldogs Senior High School football team will travel to Cupples Stadium in Pittsburgh and face Obama Academy in a sub-divisional playoff game tomorrow. Live coverage of the contest will be broadcast starting with a pregame show at 12:30 on the Allegheny News Talk Sports Network and can be heard on WMGW in Meadville at 1490AM and 100.7FM, WTIV in Titusville at 1230AM and 105.3FM, WFRA in Franklin at 1450AM and 98.1FM. A man is hospitalized after his bicycle was struck by a car in Linesville. Crash scene investigators say that at about 5PM on Monday a 70-year-old man named Bennie Chiu was riding his bike in the wrong lane and coming toward opposing traffic along Penn Street in Linesville when he was struck by a motorist turning onto the lane from Pear Street. Chiu was not wearing a helmet and was transported to UPMC Hamot with head injuries.

In state news, Musab Alowemer has been sentenced to 17 years in Federal Prison for his part in a plot to bomb a church on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Alowemer pleaded guilty to charges last year and confessed to authorities he had been inspired by ISIS.
