Authorities are investigating another fatal accident involving a pedestrian and a car in Venango County. This one, last Thursday night on Innis Street in Cranberry Township at about 8:45PM. Identities of neither the victim nor the driver have been revealed by police, but the current facts are that the driver attempted to avoid the victim but still clipped them with the right driver’s side of their vehicle and the pedestrian was later declared dead. At press time the investigators are still awaiting toxicology test results.

The United States Marine Corps Reserve and Pennsylvania State Police will once again be collaborating for Toys for Tots toy drives in Erie County. Tomorrow representatives from both organizations will host an 11AM conference by the old Office Max store which now serves as a Toys for Tots warehouse on 905 Millcreek Mall Drive. They will discuss this year’s drop boxes and the inaugural ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ that will kick off their toy gathering year.
