Timothy Rogers of Spartansburg was arraigned yesterday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and others, more than 40 days after his arrest on September 1st. Police say that Rogers used a utility terrain vehicle to attack a 43-year-old Titusville man who was on an ATV, chasing him down, and ramming him multiple times. He has been remitted to Crawford County jail on $30,000 bail; part of the delay for his arraignment appears to be that Rogers already had two other trials scheduled for September combined with the holiday and temporary closure of the courthouse.

The Crawford County Courthouse reopened yesterday after a two week closure while experts removed lead contaminated paint and updated the building’s ventilation system. Offices that had been moved to other locations around the City of Meadville have been reopened and it is now business as usual.
