The Pennsylvania State Police based in Erie is in possession of several personal items that they are looking to return to their owners. On Saturday, September 24th Trooper Wier recovered a collection of miscellaneous tools that were scattered around Garfield Avenue in Harborcreek, some of them were labeled with the initials M.P. On Tuesday, the station received a wallet that was recovered from the parking lot of Panera Bread in Harborcreek. Governor Tom Wolf recently announced the addition of three new state parks in Pennsylvania. The new parks will cover nearly 3,500 acres of wilderness and should be open for visitors before the end of 2026. The new locations will receive their official names in the planning stages and include 1,100 acres along the Susquehanna Riverlands in York County, 669 acres at Vosburg Neck in Wyoming County, and 1,712 acres at Big Elk Creek in Chester County.
