A Springboro man has been charged with DUI after crashing his vehicle, fleeing the scene of an accident, and then returning with a tractor to tow it back home. The 57-year-old’s Silverado pickup was found by State Police Troopers in Erie County’s Conneaut Township after a crash was called in last Tuesday, September 20th, and a large farm tractor showed up on the scene; it was the truck’s owner there to tow the vehicle away. Police say he showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI.

In State News, Police are searching for leads after five high school football players were shot at the end of practice at Roxborough High School in Philadelphia. One of the student athletes is dead and four others wounded after someone in a green truck opened fire on them and fled the scene.

Pennsylvania’s Health Secretary, Dr. Denise Johnson, announced that Certified Marijuana Pharmacist Laura Mentch has been hired as the new Director of the Commonwealth’s Medical Marijuana Program. Mentch officially took the Medical Marijuana Program’s helm yesterday, replacing the original program director John Collins.
