Crawford County’s Tax Claim Upset Sale takes place tomorrow in Home Show Building #1 at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Those with delinquent taxes on property that has been placed up for sale have from 8:30AM to 4:30PM to make payment or an arrangement with the Tax Claim Bureau inside the Crawford County Courthouse at 903 Diamond Park; the office will be closed on Friday during the auction and will not reopen until the final auction sale is complete. Yesterday Pennsylvania’s State Senate overwhelmingly voted to approve legislation that would prevent companies that do business with Russia or Belarus from being able to receive government contracts, tax credits, or grants. Senate BIll 1203 passed by a margin of 47 to 2 and was approved by committee in June; the only two dissenting votes were State Senators Jake Corman, and local Senator Michele Brooks.
