A Harborcreek woman was arraigned on charges of corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to a minor, and institutional sexual assault yesterday. Emalee Kedzierski was charged with the aforementioned crimes after authorities say she entered into a sexual relationship with one of her students while working as a substitute teacher at Harbor Creek Senior High School, the affair allegedly happened in June and July of last year when the student was still a minor.

A free child car seat inspection will be hosted by the Pennsylvania State Police at the Franklin City Fire Department next Monday from 3PM to 8PM. On September 19th NHTSA Certified Technicians will be on hand to inspect your child’s car or booster seats and help you to learn to install them properly. In State News, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives voted 162 to 38 to hold Philadelphia’s District Attorney, Larry Krasner, in contempt of a subpoena issued by the Select Committee on Restoring Law and Order. Krasner has refused four times to provide documents sought by the committee and has filed a motion to quash the subpoena in commonwealth court. Many of the representatives whose votes were cast against the resolution, including Democratic House Leader Joanna McClinton, cited this as their reason for voting against the resolution.
