Because of a fatal accident, Route 322 was closed from its intersection with Lindon Street in Meadville all the way up to Franklin Pike for several hours yesterday. Details about the crash had not been released at press time, but Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell did confirm yesterday that a 48-year-old man from Venango suffered deadly injuries in a collision with a concrete milling machine. Officers from both the City of Meadville and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

Butler Health System is welcoming a new surgeon to its team which serves individuals in Clarion County. Dr. Abdalla Naddaf is a board certified vascular surgeon who has been published multiple times in medical journals over his career and is skilled in both open and endovascular surgeries. In state news, an Emergency Medical Technician in Delaware County has been arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a woman in the back of an ambulance. Kevin Pressley was part of the Brookhaven Fire Company Ambulance when he allegedly assaulted a semi-conscious woman who was being transported to a hospital last Thursday; police say that they have evidence proving he undressed and photographed the woman. Pressley has a long list of charges including indecent assault and invasion of privacy.
