The Pennsylvania State Police are reporting the arrest of a man and a woman who were caught burglarizing a garage in Erie County on Sunday. The duo was allegedly witnessed to be in the act of theft from the garage of a home in Union Township by a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper who proceeded to arrest them. The 59-year-old man and 39-year-old woman whose names were not revealed have both been charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and drug related charges.

It’s that time of year when many kids and teens will be returning to school soon and proud parents will post back to school photos on their social media accounts; experts warn not to give out too much information about your child in those posts. Scammers, hackers, and other types of predators that stalk the internet can use information about your child and details about their school against them.

In state news, central Pennsylvania authorities are looking for a pair of three to four-foot-long alligators that escaped or were stolen from a Lebanon County home. The woman who owned them reported the disappearance last Sunday and believes they were stolen because she found no evidence of escape; owning an alligator as a pet is illegal in Pennsylvania and she has been cited for possessing a vicious exotic animal.
