Crash scene investigators say they discovered several containers of alcohol in the wreckage of a fatal crash in Erie County. One man was killed and two women hospitalized on the morning of Sunday, July 10th, after all three of them were ejected from a vehicle as it rolled on Route 18. At about 3:30 in the morning, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and hit a ditch which caused the car to overturn, none of the vehicle’s occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Hunters, Pennsylvania Antlerless Deer or Doe licenses become available to purchase today. For this week licenses are only available to residents of Pennsylvania and sales of the tags become available to out of state hunters on Monday, July 18th. The cost of a license is $6.97 per, and the application and payment must be sent to your county treasurer’s office.

The new FY 2022-2023 budget for Pennsylvania awaits action from Governor Tom Wolf after being passed by the PA State Senate over the weekend. The new budget includes the first pay raise for the Pennsylvania National Guard in six years, increasing the special state duty pay from $100 to $180 per day.
