Details have been revealed about a July 1st Shooting just outside of Meadville. Authorities say that a 27-year-old woman named Autumn Long was arrested for aggravated assault after brandishing a firearm and shooting a man in the left leg. The incident happened at around 2AM on Friday morning at Forest Green Estates just outside of Meadville. Other details weren’t forthcoming, but Long has been remanded to Crawford County Jail to await charges.

PennDOT warns that in Summit Township, Erie County, Oliver Road will be closed at the intersection of Hamot and Flower Roads for about 11 days while crews work on a roundabout project. Construction projects for Erie, Warren, Venango, Forest, Mercer, and Crawford Counties can be found online at PennDOT.gov/District1.

Pennsylvania Officials are encouraging people to use their four-wheelers and other All-Terrain Vehicles safely this year. PA is a national leader in ATV crashes and the Pennsylvania State Police have already responded to 55 accidents involving injuries, 11 of them fatal, including one that killed a teenager in our region.
