Yesterday the Pennsylvania State Police released details about the death of a one-year-old child in Sparta Township, Crawford County last Thursday. PSP Corry’s Criminal Investigation Unit and Crawford County Coroner, Scot Schell, determined it was an accident when a child was hit by a Dodge Ram as it pulled out from the driveway of a home on Thursday, June 9th. Despite a prompt response and care from Emergycare and Spartansburg Volunteer Fire Department EMS the child’s wounds were too severe for life-saving measures. Multiple interviews with all the involved individuals indicated no signs of deception or foul play.

To be eligible applicants must be at least 60 years of age or turning so before the end of 2022 and meet income requirements; those who qualify will be able to submit their applications in person and start receiving vouchers from 2:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the months of June and July.
