Crawford County authorities are searching for a hit and run vehicle that fled the scene of a crash at the intersection of Mercer Pike and Adamsville Road in Greenwood Township a week ago. On Friday, May 27th, at about 11:30 AM, the driver of a vehicle only described as a Chevrolet 1500 pickup ignored a stop sign and drove directly through the intersection and into the front driver’s side of a Jeep Cherokee which was disabled by the crash. The pickup’s driver backed away from the crash and then drove off to the south along Mercer Pike at a high rate of speed. Anybody with information should contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville.
