A fatal Venango County Crash took the life of a 63-year-old man early Saturday morning. Authorities say Richard Adams of Polk suffered fatal injuries after being ejected from the cab of his pickup when he lost control on Jackson Center Polk Road in Mineral Township shortly before 5:30 in the morning on Saturday, May 28th. Richard was taken by ambulance to Grove City Hospital and airlifted to Allegheny General where he was declared dead. Crash scene investigators say he was not wearing his seatbelt when his truck hydroplaned and began rotating, which threw him out through the passenger side window.

Butler Health Systems, which includes Clarion Hospital, was rated as one of the best maternity centers in the United States by Newsweek. Butler Memorial Hospital has been named on Newsweek’s list of the 350 best places to give birth in the United States for the third year in a row. Newsweek bases its rankings on information gathered by Statistica from Medical KPIs, Patient Surveys, and Nationwide Online Surveys.
