Alerting the public via social media, the US Army Corps of Engineers has updated their regulations for Woodcock Creek Lake and now allows boats to use up to 20 horsepower engines when on the reservoir. The lake’s mandatory life jacket policy remains in place; any non-swimmer on the lake who is under 12 years old or anyone aboard a vessel less than 16 feet long is required to wear a life jacket. Questions can be directed to the Woodcock Creek Lake Office by calling (814)763-4422.
