The Pennsylvania State Police have charged a Franklin man with burglary and other crimes after his April 1st arrest at the scene of a crime. Troopers from the Venango County barracks say that 27 year old Paul Long was caught at the scene of a burglary with several items of value including firearms, a lawn tractor, and power tools taken from a home in Pine Grove Township.

Beginning this week, PennDOT will begin the weekly publication of maintenance schedules for the various districts of Pennsylvania which can be viewed online by the public. Schedules for Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Warren, Forest, and Venango Counties can all be viewed at PennDOT.gov/district1 while Clarion County is in District 10.

With a primary election just three weeks away on May 17th, Pennsylvania Residents who plan to vote must be registered by next Monday, May 2nd.  You can register to vote or check your voter registration status online by visiting vote.pa.gov or paying a visit to your county’s voter services office.
