The Pennsylvania State Police based in Girard have issued a warrant for the arrest of 28 year old Nicholas Quinet of Lake City for charges of harassment, criminal mischief, assault, and strangulation. Quinet allegedly attacked a 29 year old Lake City woman shortly after midnight on Friday, January 7th by grabbing her by the neck and slamming her to the floor and is also accused of breaking her cell phone. Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Nicholas Quinet should call PSP Girard at (814)774-9611.

Due to high demand another free Drive Thru COVID-19 testing clinic will be coming to Crawford County Fairgrounds next week from Tuesday, January 18th until Friday, January 28th. Anyone seeking a test should enter through gate one and follow the instructions provided by AMI Laboratories to get a cost free PCR test. Testing will be from 9AM until 6PM on weekdays and 9AM to 2PM on Saturday the 22nd at the Crawford County Fairgrounds located on 13291 Dickson Road in Meadville. Testing is possible due to efforts by the Crawford County Commissioners in concert with Governor Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
