The Pennsylvania State Police say they have been made aware of nationwide threats being made against schools on social media platforms such as TikTok specifically mentioning today’s date. While there are no specific credible threats in Pennsylvania, officers from state a local law enforcement plan to have an increased presence around schools today. Santa Clause is coming to visit Meadville! Tomorrow at noon, Santa and his friend the Grinch will ride in one of Meadville’s big shiny firetrucks as the jolly old elf takes a tour of the city. Santa will make two socially distanced Park & View stops at Meadville High School and the Diamond Park and then hang out for a meet and greet at the Crawford Professional Building on 231 Chestnut Street starting at 3 PM. Photographs with Santa will cost $5 apiece or the donation of a toy to Toys for Tots.
