The Salvation Army in Meadville is seeking help to acquire toys for 60 area children in need of Christmas gifts. The most commonly requested toys are baby toys; lego sets; toys related to Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnight, or Cocomelon; NERF; and old standbys like cars and trucks, baby dolls and barbies. Donations for Christmas toys can be made at their building on 1087 Park Avenue in Meadville.

Santa Claus is coming to town in Franklin! St. Nick will be visiting the city of Franklin tomorrow evening at 5PM and will do a tour of the whole town, starting at the fire department and traveling about on a route that can be viewed at franklinpa.gov. The jolly old elf will bring his friend The Grinch along for the ride when he visits Meadville next Saturday on December 18th.

Pennsylvania isn’t just supplying this year’s White House Christmas Tree, it also provided hundreds of handmade ornaments to decorate the National Christmas Tree Display. The ornaments were made with lots of love by the students of George W. Nebinger Elementary in Philadelphia.
