Preliminary results for the 2021 election are in, they have not yet been certified and some ballots may still need counted.

In statewide elections for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Republican Kevin Brobson has a 5% lead over Democrat Maria McGloughlin. In the State Superior Court Republican Megan Sullivan has a nearly 11% lead on Tamika Lane and both John Bender and Marie Bowes have easily won retention votes. Stacey Marie Wallace and Drew Compton are the preliminary winners for Commonwealth Court while Anne Covey and Renee Jubelirer are retained.

In Meadville the race for mayor has not been called, but Democrat Jaime Kinder received 803 votes and over 1,000 write-ins suggest Marcie Kantz may have been successful in her heavily advertised write-in campaign, while James Roha and Nancy Mangillo Bittner took the most votes in the City Council race.

Today’s results are not yet official and during the course of today many write-in and mail-in votes still need to be tabulated. More information can be found at your county website or at electionreturns.pa.gov.
