A woman and two young children were all injured in a rollover crash in Venango County’s Rockland Township. Katie Williams of Kennerdell and two girls aged five and six were transported by ambulance to UPMC Northwest after their vehicle rolled over while driving along Kennerdell Road. Crash scene investigators say Williams lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons, drifted into the opposite lane, hit a road sign, collided with a tree, and then rolled multiple times until her vehicle landed on its passenger side.

Dr. Scott E. Miller has been named as the Chief Educational Officer for the integrated western university. Dr. Miller’s official title is Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and he will be the officer in charge of all academic programs for Clarion, California, and Edinboro Universities beginning in July of next year. Dr. Miller has been dean of Edinboro University’s School of Business since 2012 and of Arts, Humanities, and Sciences since 2015. His degrees include doctorates in law and business and a bachelor of accounting; he is also involved in a myriad of local and national organizations for the betterment of the community.

Four students of Dunmore High School in Pennsylvania’s Lackawanna County were arrested for allegedly planning a mass shooting at their school. The four teens were said to be well into the early stages of planning an attack on their school for the 25th anniversary of the attack on Columbine High School, which isn’t until April 2024. Authorities say they discovered explosive devices and instructions on how to construct more in the house of one of the suspects. Two of the suspects will be charged as adults.
