Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro has filed suit against the state Senate Intergovernmental Committee to prevent the subpoena of the personal information of Pennsylvania’s registered voters. Shapiro filed the suit in Commonwealth Court Thursday arguing that PA’s constitution specifically protects information like Social Security Numbers and Driver’s License numbers from subpoena without reasonable justification; Shapiro argues that the Republican’s election concerns are based on a false partisan narrative that has been repeatedly debunked.
