State Route 6 was closed in Warren County’s Columbus Township while medical helicopters evacuated the drivers of two cars involved in a head on collision yesterday. Crash scene investigators say that at about 12:30 Monday afternoon 72 year old Robert Rose of Warren crossed the centerline of the road while negotiating a curve and his vehicle collided head on with another motorist. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt and both suffered injuries severe enough to require medevac by helicopter.

The Crawford County Tax Upset Sale is scheduled for this Friday at 10AM. No more buyers can register for the event, but there is still a chance for those with delinquent properties on the auction block to still make payment or an arrangement with the tax claim bureau by the end of business on Thursday. Pennsylvania Officials are still trying to get the word out about ERAP, the Emergency Rental Assistance Program designed to help landlords and renters avoid evictions and utility shutoffs due to the pandemic. ERAP is funded through emergency pandemic relief funds and available to all PA residents within certain criteria are eligible and anybody can apply regardless of immigration status with applications that are available in more than 5 languages.
