Students in Conneaut High School had a two hour delay this morning. The delay was caused by there being too many bus drivers sickened with COVID-19 and not enough substitutes. Morning Vo-Tech students reported to class normally with the Elementary and Middle School students, all other Conneaut High School Students were delayed two hours.

PennDOT is currently accepting applications for Multimodal Transportation Fund grants for the 2022-23 fiscal year until 4PM on Friday, November 5th. Full schedules of planned roadwork for Erie, Crawford, Warren, Mercer, Forest, and Venango Counties can be found online at; Clarion County is in District 10.

Republican Leaders in the Pennsylvania General Assembly have written to Governor Tom Wolf asking for more COVID-19 related data to be released by the Department of Health. They wish for the Department of Health to share data about infections in teens and children under the age of 18 and a comparison of case counts for the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated.

In Clarion County, Police are investigating a rare case of pickpocketing. The victim, a 75 year old man, says that while at Wal-Mart he was approached by a woman of Middle Eastern descent who asked him for gas money. During an exchange she sold him several pieces of fake jewelry and removed his Rolex watch.
