The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a robbery which took place at Little Caesar’s Pizza on High Street in Waterford Saturday night. Just before 10pm the suspect arrived dressed all in black and demanded cash from the register as it was being counted, and then fled the scene on a motorcycle, the suspect’s trail ended when they headed in an unknown direction on Route 19. Anybody who might have information is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police in Erie at (814)898-1641.

 

The bridge that carries Route 18 over Interstate 90 in Girard Township, Erie County is partially closed after suffering severe damage from a strike by an oversized vehicle. Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Agriculture, Russel Redding, is marking the third year of Pennsylvania’s successful Farm to School Program which has helped 81% of Pennsylvania Schools provide fresh produce from local farms in school lunches. The Farm to School Program is part of the Pennsylvania Farm Bill and also aims to work with the Department of Education to get children interested in agriculture as a career.
