Effective tomorrow Clarion Hospital will no longer be providing COVID-19 vaccines at the Gordman’s Building and instead begin providing vaccinations inside their own facility at 1 Hospital Drive in Clarion. Clarion Hospital provides your choice of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine for adults and children as young as 12 can receive the Pfizer vaccine. Meadville Medical Center is still providing the Pfizer vaccine at Mill Run Pharmacy once they schedule enough appointments; visit mmchs.org or call (814)333-5000.

 

The Pennsylvania State House of Representatives voted largely on party lines to approve a comprehensive election reform bill yesterday, sending it for consideration in the state senate. The bill dubbed the Voting Rights Protection Act is 149 pages long and does many things, including allow early in person voting, but also add new limits to mail in voting, expand voter ID laws, cut off voter registration earlier, and many more. Governor Tom Wolf has already promised a veto should it reach his desk after stating bluntly that the negatives outweigh the positives.
