Meadville Medical Center is accepting registration for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled for tomorrow – Friday, March 26th. Anyone who is eligible in vaccine phase 1A may register online by visiting or via a link posted on their Facebook page and does not need to be a resident of Crawford County to enroll. Patients who qualify in 1A include adults 65 years or older and patients with COPD, kidney disease, heart disease, are immunocompromised, diabetic, have or has had cancer, or are obese. The clinic will be located at the old Peeble’s store in the Park Avenue Plaza of Meadville.


Pennsylvania State Police from Franklin report strange circumstances behind the arrest of 35 year old Arica Earp-Jackson of Seneca. She was arrested early Sunday morning after holding up traffic as she attempted to cut holes into Mark Drive with a sawzall, she had also been cited that Saturday night for running up and down the block shouting.


Representative Stan Saylor, the chairman of the Pennsylvania House Appropriations Committee, wants all schools to open at full capacity before they can receive any state funding. On Wednesday he announced his intentions to push for changes to the school code to make it happen. In a press release Rep. Saylor cited a national study showing that elementary students from Kindergarten to 5th grade were learning as much as a third less than they would have if they had maintained a regular class schedule.


A Meadville area teenager suffered only a few cuts and bruises after rolling a pickup truck during a crash on the Park Avenue Extension. According to crash scene investigators the 17 year old was traveling south when they hit a guardrail with enough force to send his S-10 pickup airborne and roll when it landed.

Quality and value ratings are outlined with retention rates, graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, career resources, job placement and student loan default rates.


After receiving 52 votes in the United State’s Senate, former Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine was confirmed as Assistant Secretary of Health for the United States of America. Doctor Levine becomes the first openly transgender official to be confirmed to a post in the United States Government.
