A fatal Friday night car accident is being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police from Meadville. A 58 year old Guys Mills man was declared dead at the scene of a rollover crash on Wolf Road in East Mead Township which happened just after midnight on Saturday. The vehicle collided with a roadside tree and rolled over.


The new ownership of Conneaut Lake Park turned to social media to announce big plans for the coming years, including a reconstructed Beach Club, Camperland expansion, improvements to the waterpark and kiddieland, and improvements and expansions to the beach. The primary goal for this year is to have the park cleaned up, cleared of structurally unsound buildings, and in operation by Memorial Day.


Governor Tom Wolf has announced a push by his administration to have the first phase of COVID-19 vaccinations completed before the end of the month. The Governor has directed vaccine providers to focus on their best efforts to schedule everyone eligible in Phase 1A for an appointment by March 28th.


The Pennsylvania State Police are in possession of tools and other valuable items that were located on Laurel Road in Clarion County’s Piney Township on Friday March 12th. Anybody with information about these tools or the owner of these tools should call the Clarion State Police at (814)226-1710.

On Friday Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order forming a Transportation Revenue Options Commission whose mission it will be to explore options to eliminate the gas tax and explore alternative means to funding PennDOT. Pennsylvania’s gas tax is the second highest in the nation, but it fails to raise enough revenue to meet its goal of funding PennDOT by more than $9 billion and also hurts consumers at the pump.
