Walberg Family Pharmacies is hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinic for residents of Mercer, Crawford, Erie, and Venango counties at Conneaut Lake Middle School in Conneaut Lake Pennsylvania from 7AM to 5PM today (Monday, March 1st). The clinic is for first doses of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine for people who qualify in Phase 1-A of the vaccine rollout. Walk-ins are welcome to the clinic and must bring proof of residence in Crawford or Mercer County and any information about medical insurance by the following schedule:
Adults 75 and older from 9AM
Adults 65 and Older from 11AM
Anyone 16 and older with an underlying medical condition such as cancer or diabetes from 1PM to 3PM
If you are unsure if you qualify you can visit the PA Department of Health’s online Your Turn application, or the COVID Alert PA App on a smartphone, and those without internet access may call (1-877)724-3258.

 

Authorities are investigating after a missing Ohio man was found dead in Crawford County. The body of 28 year old David Anderson of Andover Ohio was discovered in North Shenango Township, Crawford County on Thursday, February 25th. He had been reported missing since February 7th.

 

In State News, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General and a United States Attorney have announced criminal charges against the administrator of a Pennsylvania Nursing Home. Josh Shapiro and Federal Attorney Scott Brady have charged Susan Gilbert of Mount Lebanon Rehabilitation and Wellness Center with Conspiracy to defraud the federal government, healthcare fraud, and obstruction of a federal audit. Gilbert’s charges come after witnesses testified before a grand jury that she directed employees to lie about staffing shortages to make it appear like her facility met the federal and state minimum for qualified nursing staff.
