State Police based in Mercer County report the arrest of two men in a relationship after a domestic dispute turned into a violent brawl. One man allegedly cut the other with a utility knife and caused lacerations on his arm and chest, and both men reportedly pushed, shoved, struck, bit, and pulled each other’s hair. The couple was arrested by state troopers, but no charges were mentioned in the press release.

 

A Meadville man has been charged for assaulting a corrections officer in Crawford County Jail. 41 year old Shawn Coudriet is accused of attacking and injuring a guard last week on Friday the 19th. Details of the assault or what charges he may face haven’t been revealed.

 

Pennsylvania residents may be casting a ballot on another Constitutional Amendment this year after a Senate Committee advanced a new bill. The proposed amendment would change Pennsylvania’s elections by allowing candidates for governor to pick a running mate for their lieutenant governor instead of holding a separate election for the position during primary season.
