There was an all night standoff with a State Police Special Emergency Response Team in Jamestown on Sunday night. Troopers from Meadville responded to several calls about an unnamed 28 year old man behaving in an erratic and threatening manner at around 10:30 at night on Sunday February 7th. A SERT team was activated when the man locked himself in his home and threatened officers which initiated a standoff that lasted nearly nine hours before the man exited his residence and was arrested.

 

State Representative Lee James is offering Veteran’s Outreach hours at his office in Seneca from 10AM to 2PM next Tuesday, February 16th.
