A Meadville woman is dead after a Monday morning crash in Perry Township, Mercer County. 58 year old Linda Peters was killed when her SUV collided with a Mack truck on a stretch of Route 19 known as Perry Highway at its intersection with Fredonia and Ohl Roads. Investigators are trying to determine why the victim drove through a clearly marked intersection preceding the crash which ended her life.

 

Local State Representative Kathy Rapp who represents portions of Erie, Crawford, Forest, and Venango Counties has outlined her agenda for her second term as chair of the House Health Committee. Rapp has once again made sweeping pro-life reforms to Pennsylvania’s abortion laws her main priority, but has also listed more legislative oversight over the commonwealth’s response to COVID-19, and the price of medication as top priorities

 

The Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee advanced a bill sponsored by a now deceased State Senator. The bill originally sponsored by the late Senator David Arnold seeks to create a special child pornography task force within state law enforcement and increase penalties for possessing those materials. Arnold was picked in a special election to replace Mike Folmer who was arrested for child pornography.
