Reactions from Pennsylvania’s Lawmakers have been pouring out in response to the violence at the United States Capitol Building in Washington DC. Pennsylvania’s House Majority Leader and Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler released a joint statement calling the storming the Capitol an act of violence and stated “Any act of violence is a crime and should be treated as such.”
United States Senator Pat Toomey called it an absolute disgrace. Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan said “…violent actions at the Capitol are the antithesis of who we are as a country.”
Governor Tom Wolf called it an attempted coup and the direct result of a disinformation campaign aimed at President Trump’s most fervent supporters.
