Crawford County Fairgrounds is hosting a drive through COVID-19 testing clinic which will be open for five days starting with today and ending on Friday, January 8th. The clinic’s hours are from 9AM to 6PM and it has the capacity to perform 450 PCR tests per day. The clinic is run by AMI, a contractor with the Pennsylvania Department of Health and testing is free of cost for patients. No appointment is required and clinic patients need to bring identification and enter the fairgrounds from gate #6 to follow the signs to get to the registration and testing areas. CATA will be running a free shuttle service from the Downtown Mall to the Fairgrounds beginning tomorrow.
Governor Tom Wolf’s December 12th restrictions on gyms and indoor service at bars and restaurants ends today at 8AM. Previous rules about limiting capacity and masks are still in effect. Pennsylvania saw a consistent decrease in new COVID-19 cases for two weeks after the restrictions were put in place.
