The Pennsylvania State Police have released information about a car chase near the city of Titusville on Wednesday. Troopers from the Corry state police barracks did not name the 47 year old Titusville man who was arrested after allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop on Johnson Road, but they did reveal that he was arrested after fighting with officers when his vehicle broke down near the Crawford and Venango County line. The man is being charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest, and more.

 

The Market House Grill in the City of Meadville will be permanently closing its doors this year. The board members of the Market House Authority voted against renewing the establishment’s lease after nearly 13 years of continuous operation. There has been an outpouring of regret by residents of Meadville and the surrounding area after the official announcement of the closure was made on social media by the grill’s operator, Cindy Thompson.

 

In state news a legal battle between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Vision Property Management company has intensified after an Allegheny County judge told tenants they could immediately stop paying their rents.
