Pennsylvania State Police and Crawford County Coroner responded to the scene of a shooting death near Cambridge Springs on Tuesday. The body of Craig Galford was discovered killed by a gunshot wound at a home on Mackey Hill Road in Rockland Township. Investigators believe the cause of death was an accident and that Craig unintentionally caused himself a fatal wound.
Tuesday set a new record for coronavirus cases in Crawford County. The Pennsylvania Department of Health Reports that on December 1st the County confirmed 117 cases of COVID-19. DHS also reports that 18 residents of the County died from COVID during the month of November and that there were more than 145,000 new cases statewide.
While our region dealt with snow storms the southeastern portion of the state contended with tornados. One tornado touched down in Montgomeryville Pennsylvania Monday afternoon, causing damage to more than 20 homes and businesses and leaving one family homeless.
