The Pennsylvania State Police have officially charged 50 year old Paul Carnrike Jr of Union City with criminal homicide in connection to the death of Michael Thieme of Corry. Michael, who was also 50 years of age, was discovered dead shortly before 1AM on the morning of Saturday November 28th in Crawford County. No cause of death has been made public.


More than ten inches of snow fell in some parts of Northwestern Pennsylvania yesterday, leading to road closures, school delays, and at least one fatal car accident. 79 year old Ronald Fitzgerald of Erie was killed yesterday morning on Route 18 between Cranesville and Platea shortly after 6AM. He was the passenger of a vehicle driven by his grandson and was hit head on by an out of control SUV. Both drivers were hospitalized with injuries.


In State News the US Court of appeals reinstated the child endangerment conviction of former Penn State University President Graham Spanier. Spanier was the PSU President who took no action against assistant football Coach Jerry Sandusky while he was sexually assaulting young boys on campus.
