Pennsylvania CareerLink of Erie and Oil City will be closing its offices to the public for a period of at least 2 weeks starting on November 30th.  Though their physical offices will be closed to the public, CareerLink resources will still be available virtually and counselors will still be available to contact over the phone or through online means like Skype, FaceTime, Ring Central, text messaging, and Webex.

 

Meadville Middle School and Meadville Senior High School are closed today because of a broken water main. Classes will resume on a remote learning basis at the end of Thanksgiving Break on Tuesday December 1st.

 

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certified the results of the 2020 elections yesterday and declared Joseph Robinette Biden the Presidential winner, but there are still lawsuits to be sorted out in the courts. Several suits from the Donald Trump campaign alleging fraud have been dismissed for lack of evidence, but still more have been filed, and now local United States Congressman Mike Kelly has launched a suit of his own in Commonwealth Court which seeks to invalidate the entirety of the mail in and absentee ballots
