The Meadville Area Senior High School and First District Elementary School will be closed for the rest of the week after teachers tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. Like with the middle school, students will be doing remote learning and must be ready for online courses at the time they would normally be attending class in person. Lunches for students can be picked up at Door 14 of the Meadville High School from noon until 1PM and Friday night’s football playoff game has been rescheduled for Monday October 26th. For questions please e-mail COVID@craw.org.

 

Health insurance coverage for Pennsylvania residents seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction could soon become part and parcel for the commonwealth. The Pennsylvania State Senate unanimously passed a bill authored by Senator Christine Tartaglioune that would require all insurance policies in the commonwealth to carry coverage for the treatment of drug and alcohol addictions. The bill has been sent for a hearing in the house of representatives.
