The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of a deadly fire in Warren County. On the morning of Friday October the 16th a structure fire enveloped a home on Scotts Crossing Road in Columbus Township, resulting in the death of a 14 year old girl. The fire was severe enough to result in the temporary closing of the road for about three hours until it reopened around 11:30am.

Today is the final day you can register to vote ahead of the November 3rd Presidential Election of 2020. Those who are unregistered, but wish to vote in the election have only today left to register at their county voter services office or online. A pay freeze for government officials in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania officially became law with the signature of Governor Tom Wolf on Friday. House Bill 2487 was unanimously approved in the General Assembly and cancels all cost of living adjustments for all elected members of the state government and as well as all department heads and members of boards and commissions for an entire year beginning on December 1st.
