23 year old Alexander Walsh-Monico of Meadville was arrested by state troopers Saturday morning after allegedly burglarizing a popular retail space on Meadville’s Pennsylvania Avenue. Authorities say Walsh-Monico was caught exiting the building with stolen goods and fled into a nearby wooded area where he was subsequently arrested.


Pennsylvania may soon be home to a lemon law for motorcycles. A bill seeking to establish a motorcycle lemon law for the commonwealth advanced through the Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee. It virtually mirrors the existing lemon law for cars, trucks, and vans and would require that the manufacturer be held responsible for major defects within the first year or 12,000 miles of use by the purchaser.


Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Thomas Saylor, made a statement in regards to calls for the impeachment of a State Supreme Court Justice. Some members of the legislature have called for the impeachment of Justice David Wetcht after a series of court decisions went in favor of Governor Wolf. Saylor said impeaching a court justice over a difference of opinion threatens the independent judiciary.
