22 year old Tyler Howard of Franklin has been charged with several felony and misdemeanor crimes nearly two months after a violent car crash. The Sugarcreek Police Department reports that on Thursday, August 20th Howard was behind the wheel of a vehicle which collided with, and broke, a utility pole on Meadville Pike, seriously injuring himself and two juveniles that were with him. After a thorough investigation of the crash Tyler Howard is now arraigned on charges including aggravated assault by vehicle, driving under the influence, aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, drug possession with intent to deliver, and more.

 

The leadership of both the House Democrat and Republican Caucuses are calling for the resignation of State Representative Aaron Bernstine. Both parties have asked the representative from Lawrence and Beaver county to step down after a social media post seems to show him attempting to get his five year old son to smoke a cigar.
