Yesterday Afternoon the Sugarcreek Police Department and a task force from the Attorney General launched a drug raid on a home on Front Street in Rocky Grove. According to a press release published shortly after the event, officers arrested six individuals and recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, cash money, and drug paraphernalia. 


The City of Meadville has announced the Closure of Mercer Street to through traffic from the French Creek Parkway to Cussewago Road on Monday September the 21st until Friday the 25th. The closure is in place while the New York and Pennsylvania Railroad replaces a railway crossing. Local traffic will be allowed access to RE Michael and Hydroblox from the parkway, and Power Bell and the athletic field from Cussewago Road.


Yesterday the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that mail-in ballots postmarked by election day on November 3rd can be received and counted as long as they arrive at their destination by Friday, November 6th, at 5PM. Governor Tom said he is pleased with this decision while republican leaders in the legislature say it undermines election security.
