In Springboro a teenager was arrested by police after allegedly attacking a 65 year old man with a stun gun. Authorities report that on Thursday, September 10th a 14 year old boy struck the elder man in the back with the stun gun after an unspecified altercation. The boy was released to juvenile probation shortly after his arrest.

 

PennDOT’s District 1 work schedule includes lane restrictions on Interstate 79 North and South between mile markers 147 and 163 for maintenance work to be carried out along the shoulders of the road. The $300 Federal Unemployment Benefit created by Presidential executive order has seen a reversal and will not be paid in installments. Secretary of Labor and Industry Jerry Oleksiak reported Friday that Washington cancelled the program, which should have begun paying benefits to Pennsylvanian’s today. Anyone who filed a claim between August 1st and September 5th will receive a lump sum for the approved weeks.
