Authorities in Warren County are seeking a motorcycle that was stolen from outside a home on Main Street in Tidioute on September 7th or 8th. The motorcycle is a navy blue 1979 Harley Davidson Sportster 1000 with the PA license plate number EVT02. If you may have information about the bike or the theft please call the Warren County State Police at (814)728-3600.

 

The city of Meadville has announced the reopening of the boat launch at the Kenneth A. Beers Bicentennial Park after the successful completion of a reconstruction project. Konzel Construction of Erie rebuilt the boat launch ramp with improvements and installed rip-rap rocks to reduce erosion around the area.

 

In state news the republican leadership in the general assembly are already making preparations to hold a vote to override the planned veto of House Bill 2787. HB 2787 gives local school districts the choice of whether or not to allow spectators at school sporting events, and also to decide if school sports will even be played. Governor Wolf has repeatedly stated he will use his veto authority on the bill and that school districts already have the power to decide whether or not to have school sports.
