An attempt to override Governor Tom Wolf’s State of Emergency over COVID-19 failed in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives yesterday. Governor Wolf renewed the emergency for an additional 90 days at the beginning of the month and vetoed a resolution to end it which sparked objections from Republican Leadership and led to yesterday’s failed vote. The House was 18 votes short of the necessary 136.
