52 year old Christine Stasik of Sandy Lake and a 12 year old boy who was her passenger were both airlifted to a hospital after a two car collision in Mercer County. According to investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police Stasik failed to yield at a stop sign by the intersection of Georgetown and Cranberry Road in New Vernon Township and her vehicle collided with a pickup.

 

In Crawford County authorities have not released the name of a man who was arrested for threatening people with a handgun outside of a bar. The 29 year old man from Spring Creek allegedly threatened other bar patrons while wielding a handgun outside of an establishment on Route 8 in Bloomfield Township. Charges are pending according to police.

 

Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection has awarded more than $5 million in grant money to a variety of clean air projects. These projects include the installation of 16 fast charging stations for electric vehicles across the state. The funds come from the 2018 settlement with Volkswagen over their cheating at emissions tests.
