44 year old Dennis Brink Junior of Franklin is facing multiple charges related to corruption of minors after his arrest by the Sugarcreek Police Department. It’s alleged that Brink had furnished alcohol and controlled substances to several children in the Franklin area and even transported some of them so that they could buy drugs. Brink is being held in Venango County Jail without bail until his preliminary hearing early next month.


Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro and US Attorney Scott Brady recently announced charges against 33 Pennsylvania residents accused of being part of several schemes to help prison and jail inmates defraud CARES Act programs. Most of the defendants are already incarcerated and with the occasional help of outside accomplices were able to gain financial aid meant for the working and unemployed.


Authorities are investigating a shooting during a Black Lives Matter event in Central Pennsylvania. Someone shot a firearm at a group of marchers on a pilgrimage to Washington DC as they made their way through Bedford Pennsylvania, injuring one participant.
