An unnamed 31 year old man from Franklin turned himself in to authorities in Venango County after a warrant was issued for his arrest. The man is accused of stalking a woman home from and then crashing his vehicle into her home when she refused to let him enter. He was remanded to Venango County Jail after being arraigned on unspecified charges.

 

Edinboro University of Pennsylvania has been given a top 20 rank for its early childhood education program. EU was ranked 15th in a national survey conducted by a leading higher education research center, Study.com. The survey uses analytics from the U.S. Department of Education related to tuition cost, financial aid, admittance rates, educational support, student-to-faculty ratio and career resources.

 

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is warning residents of the state not to plant unsolicited packages of seeds showing up in their mailboxes. State and federal officials from their respective departments of agriculture are searching for the origins of the seeds which are mislabeled and may contain plant diseases or an invasive species.
