The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce has announced some changes to this year’s Oil Heritage Festival as the organizers try to balance the celebration with protecting revelers from the spread of COVID-19. It was announced earlier this month that there would be no parade, but further changes to events have also been announced. The Hip and Handmade Craft Show will not be held this year, the evening concert series and queen crowning will be live streamed over the internet, and the Car and Motorcycle Cruise In will be a ‘cruise through’; where participants will cruise by the Venango Museum, stop for pictures and gifts for participation, and then move on.

Construction on the plant has been uninterrupted since November 2017.
